Dedication, Loyal Representation

Betty LG Jones served in the US Army as a personnel and legal clerk, which provided her with the skills to interpret and find pertinent information essential to winning claims. While a patient in a medical holding unit, she became familiar with the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) and the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) processes. After completing her service, she became a homeless veteran. She had to become acquainted with the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Healthcare System and the DVA compensation system. Betty LG Jones fought for her benefits and ensuring she would receive the best medical care the DVA can offer.

With these experiences as well as becoming an Accredited Veterans Administration Agent, she can provide a detailed complex review and legal analysis using the most up-to-date legislation and guidance from the DVA to assist in the development, preparation, presentation, and prosecution of Veterans Administration claims.

This includes disability, housing, and vocational rehabilitation claims. She as well has attended House and Senate Committee floor action on Veteran’s topics. She has also served as a liaison between state officials and the Veterans Administration as a formal state Veterans Service Officer.

We Treat You With Respect

The government may seem to have a predetermined idea about your claim. They may lump certain claims in categories and place a blanket over them. What you experience may not fit in the box that they designate as “your condition”. Many claimants have stated, “They set unrealistic guidelines for us to follow. For example, scheduling us for mandatory examinations at a medical facility with a doctor we have never seen before, who may not know our complete history and expect us to perform.”

The National Center for Policy Analysis, a not-for-profit organization, reports that 31% of all applications for VA disability benefits are denied initially. 60% of those denials are in error. In many of the VA decision letters, it states the reason for denial is there is no evidence that “your symptoms, conditions, or event were noted in your service record”.

Break the government’s mold in using standard templates to judge your disability. Make it personal with the agency; let them know who you are and what really happened while you were in service. Make them understand your individual circumstances, and medical history when it comes to your disability situation. We help to educate you about your eligibility requirements and the agency’s rules and laws. This ultimately helps us to develop your evidence so that you can tell your story when it comes to your individual disability claim.
